The BBB Student of Integrity Awards were presented by the Better Business Bureau Education Foundation to six high school students in the ten county upstate regions who personally demonstrate ethics through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic history. Recipients were presented at the Bureau’s Business of Integrity Awards Dinner on October 22nd, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency-Greenville.  The award was sponsored by Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc., GBS Lumber, Elevations, LLC, Hyundai of Greer, Kia of Greer, Toyota of Greer, Spartan Equipment, Pacific Equipment Sales, Inc., and Waste Management.
 
The winners were Marlena Nicole Brdar, Oakwood Christian School; Emily Talley Hammond, Greer High School; Amanda Elizabeth Bishop, Riverside High School, Rachel Alyssa Whitmire, T.L. Hanna High School; and Destinee Kiara Johnson, Westside High School and Sara Elizabeth Batson of Travelers Rest High School received the Ellis L. Darby Memorial Scholarship sponsored by GBS Lumber.





Current Juniors who will be seniors in the Fall of 2010 are encouraged to download the applications and submit by May 21, 2010.
